William Street Studio was designed for the working photo and video professional in Victoria. With ground level entry, and street parking it makes hauling gear and props easy. 

The studio has 520 square feet of floor space, and double height floor to ceiling windows that provide ample natural light on even the darkest island winter days. We receive the strongest light in the afternoon, and softer light in the mornings.

The studio is available for hourly rentals (minimum 2 hours) which makes bringing clients here for small jobs easy. 

SPECS

William Street Studio is a multipurpose artist space in Victoria British Columbia. Primarily a working photography studio, it doubles as a workshop and event space that can accommodate offsite meetings, or short term popups.

FAQ

  • It does, you’ll get the password once you are booked in for your shoot date.

  • The studio has a smart lock which will be set with you a unique code which will allow you to access the studio without a key.

  • We do have a variety of 9’ and 4’ wide seamless paper backdrops and we will even set them up for you! Paper backdrops are an additional $35.00/ colour.

    We also have a moveable wall that we repaint a different colours when the mood strikes. It is included with your rental fee.

    If you want a specific colour we can paint it for you for the cost of paint and $50.00 painting fee.

  • We do but it is minimal. Check out the rental information page for more information.

    We recommend Camera Traders for all your strobe needs and Lot2 for all your constant lighting needs.
